The ARI Offshore Bridge Simulator is a sophisticated training platform designed to replicate the unique operational challenges of offshore vessels. Unlike standard merchant ships, offshore vessels like platform supply vessels (PSVs) and anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTSVs) require precise manoeuvring in close proximity to oil rigs and platforms. This simulator provides a complete virtual environment, including both fore- and aft-bridge stations, allowing trainees to practise the coordination required for complex offshore tasks. By utilising a high-fidelity visual system and realistic vessel dynamics, the simulator ensures that operators can develop the precision needed for station-keeping and dynamic positioning.
